**1.** جَمِيعُ شُؤُونِ الْخَلْقِ مِنْ شَأْنِ فَيْلَقِ / فَعَيْنِي وَكَلْكَالِي وَطِرْسِي وَلَقْلَقِي

_Jamī‘u shu’ūni l-khalqi min sha’ni faylaqin / Fa-‘aynī wa kalkālī wa ṭirsī wa laqlaqī_

All the affairs of creation stem from the affair of the Leader (the Prophet); thus, my eyes, my chest, my parchment, and my speech are all for him.

**2.** قِلاَمِي وَنِفْسِي قَدْ خَدَمْتُ لِذِكْرِهِ / بِذِكْرِ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ أَعْلُو وَأَرْتَقِي

_Qilāmī wa nifsī qad khadamtū li-dhikrihī / Bi-dhikri Rasūli llāhi a‘lu wa artaqī_

My pens and my ink have I dedicated to his service; through the remembrance of the Messenger of Allah, I ascend and rise.

**3.** جَلِيلٌ جَمِيلٌ خُلْقُهُ ذِكْرُ رَبِّـــــهِ / بَشِيرٌ نَذِيرٌ رَبُّ صِدْقٍ مُصَدَّقِ

_Jalīlun jamīlun khulquhū dhikru Rabbihī / Bashīrun nadhīrun Rabbu ṣidqin muṣaddaqī_

Magnificent and beautiful is his character, and his speech is the remembrance of his Lord; a bringer of glad tidings, a warner, a truthful master who is himself confirmed as true.

**4.** خَلِيلَيَّ مُرَّابِي عَلَى حَضْرَةِ الثِّنَا / أُقَضِّ لُبَانَاتِ الْفُــؤَادِ الْمُمَــــزَّقِ

_Khalīlayya murrābī ‘alā ḥaḍrati th-thanā / Uqaḍḍī lubānāti l-fu’ādi l-mumazzaqī_

O my two companions, lead me to the Presence of Praise, so that I may fulfill the longings of a torn heart.

**5.** أَلاَ لَيْتَ شِعْرِي كَيْفَ عَهْدِيَ عِنْدَهُ / فَإِنَّ لَهُ عِنْدِي لَعَهْـــــــــدَ مُوَثِّــــقِ

_Alā layta shi‘rī kayfa ‘ahdī ‘indahū / Fa-inna lahū ‘indī la-‘ahdan muwaththaqī_

O, I wish I knew: how is my covenant regarded by him? For indeed, I hold a firmly established covenant with him.

**6.** حَلَفْتُ لَهُ بِالذَّاتِ إِنِّـــــــي أُحِبُّــــهُ / وِدَادًا صَفِيًّا فَهْوَ نَهْجِي وَمَوْدِقِــي

_Ḥalaftu lahū bi-dh-dhāti innī uḥibbuhū / Widādan ṣafiyyan fahuwa nahjī wa mawdiqī_

I have sworn to him by the Divine Essence that I love him with a pure affection; for he is my path and my place of refuge.

**7.** فَإِنَّكَ مِحْرَابُ الْوُجُودِ وَوَجْهُـــــهَا / وَإِنَّكَ بَابُ الْوَصْـــــلِ لِلْمُتَحَقِّـــقِ

_Fa-innaka miḥrābu l-wujūdi wa wajhuhā / Wa-innaka bābu l-waṣli lil-mutaḥaqqiqī_

For you are the prayer-niche (Mihrab) of existence and its face; and you are the Door of Union for the one seeking realization.

**8.** وَإِنَّكَ خَتْمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ فَلاَ يُــــــــرَى / نَبِيٌّ بُعَيْدَ الْمُصْطَفَى الْقَرْمِ فَيْلَقِــي

_Wa-innaka khatmu l-anbiyā’i fa-lā yurā / Nabiyyun bu‘ayda l-muṣṭafā l-qarmi faylaqī_

And you are the Seal of the Prophets, so no Prophet shall ever be seen after the Chosen One, the noble Leader.

**9.** مُسَيْلَمَةُ الْكَذَّابُ حَــــــــاوَلَ كَوْنَـــهُ / شَرِيكًا لَهُ فِي الْأَمْرِ مَحْضَ تَمَشْدُقِ

_Musaylamatu l-kadhdhābu ḥāwala kawnahū / Sharīkan lahū fī l-amri maḥḍa tamashduqī_

Musaylimah the Liar attempted to become a partner with him in the matter through mere boastful chatter.

**10.** وَرَبِّي يُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ يُبْطِلُ ضِدَّهُ / وَلَوْ سَاءَ نُورُ الْحَقِّ أَهْلَ تَزَنْدُقِ

_Wa Rabbī yuḥiqu l-ḥaqqa yubṭilu ḍiddahū / Wa law sā’a nūru l-ḥaqqi ahla tazandiqī_

But my Lord establishes the Truth and nullifies its opposite, even if the Light of Truth displeases the people of heresy.

**11.** فَقَدْ جَدَّ فِي تَحْقِيقِ دَعْوَاهُ جُهْدَهُ / وَلَكِنَّ رَبِّي غَالِبٌ كُلَّ فَيْلَـــــقِ

_Faqad jadda fī taḥqīqi da‘wāhū juhdahū / Wa lākinna Rabbī ghālibun kulla faylaqī_

He (Musaylimah) exerted all his effort to validate his claim, but my Lord is the Vanquisher of every army.

**12.** فَهُو زَبَدٌ قَدْ زَحْزَحَ اللّٰهُ كَيْدَهُ / وَتَبْقَى مَنَافِعُ الْخَلاَئِقِ تَرْتَقِي

_Fahūwa zabdun qad zaḥzaḥa llāhu kaydahū / Wa tabqā manāfi‘u l-khalā’iqi tartaqī_

He was but foam whose plot Allah swept away, while the benefits for all creation remain and continue to rise.

**13.** وَإِنَّ قُرَيْشًا كَذَّبُوهُ وَقَاتَلُـــوا / فَمَزَّقَ سَيْفُ الْحَقِّ أَهْلَ تَفَسُّقِ

_Wa inna Qurayshan kadhdhabūhū wa qātalū / Fa-mazzaqa sayfu l-ḥaqqi ahla tafassuqī_

Indeed, the Quraysh denied him and fought him, but the Sword of Truth tore apart the people of depravity.

**14.** أَبَادَ جُمُوعًا كَذَّبُوهُ وَحَارَبُوا / أَفَادَ عُلُومَ الْحَقِّ كُلَّ مُصَدِّقِ

_Abāda jumū‘an kadhdhabūhū wa ḥārabū / Afāda ‘ulūma l-ḥaqqi kulla muṣaddiqī_

He annihilated the throngs who denied and warred against him, while providing the sciences of Truth to every believer.

**15.** قَلَوْهُ وَآذَوْهُ عُتُوًّا فَلَمْ يَـــــزَلْ / بِرِفْقٍ وَلِينٍ مُرْشِدًا كُلَّ مُوبِقِ

_Qalawhū wa ādhawhū ‘utūwwan fa-lam yazal / Bi-rifqin wa līnin murshidan kulla mūbiqī_

they detested him and harmed him out of arrogance, yet he remained gentle and kind, guiding every soul on the brink of ruin.

**16.** فَيَا رَبِّ فَاسْلُكْ بِي صِرَاطَ مُحَمَّــدٍ / وَيَا رَبِّ فَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى كُلِّ مُبْرِقِ

_Fa-yā Rabbī fasluk bī ṣirāṭa Muḥammadin / Wa yā Rabbī fanṣurnī ‘alā kulli mubriqī_

O Lord, make me travel the path of Muhammad; O Lord, grant me victory over every deceptive person.

**17.** وَيَا رَبِّ حَقِّقْنِي وَبَصِّـــرْ قُلُوبَنَـــا / وَصَحْبِي وَأَحْبَابِي وَكُلَّ مُوَفَّــــقِ

_Wa yā Rabbī ḥaqqiqnī wa baṣṣir qulūbanā / Wa ṣaḥbī wa aḥbābī wa kulla muwaffaqī_

O Lord, grant me realization and give insight to our hearts, as well as to my companions, my loved ones, and every successful soul.

**18.** بِجَاهِ نَبِيِّ الْحَقِّ ثُـــــــمَّ صِحَابِــــــهِ / عَلَيْهِ صَلاَةٌ دَائِمًــــــا لَــــمْ تُفَتَّـــــقِ

_Bi-jāhi Nabiyyil-ḥaqqi thumma ṣiḥābihī / ‘Alayhi ṣalātun dā’iman lam tufattaqī_

By the rank of the Prophet of Truth and his companions; upon him be prayers eternally, never to be severed.
