_Kafānī humūmī man kafā ẓulmata al-shirki / Wa baddada abṭāla al-baṭālatī wa al-shakki_

The one who sufficed the darkness of polytheism has sufficed me in my worries and scattered the champions of falsehood and doubt.

_Kafānī jamī‘a al-hammi ṣirtu muḥarraran / Bi-fakki Rasūli Allāhi qalbī mina al-shirki_

He sufficed me in all my grief so that I became liberated by the Messenger of Allah freeing my heart from association.

_Idhā ḥalla jayshu al-hammi baddada shamlahu / Bi-nūri yaqīnin lā yarīmu fayā mulkī_

Whenever the army of worry descends, he scatters its ranks with a light of certainty that never leaves, O my Sovereign.

_Wa adhkurū baytan qīla qablī wa innahu / Maqālī wa ḥālī ḥālat al-ḍīqi wa al-ḍanki_

I remember a verse said before me, and indeed it is my own speech and state in times of constriction and hardship.

_“Idhā kānat al-aqdāru min māliki al-mulki / Fasiyyān ‘indī mā yasurru wa mā yubkī”_

"If the decrees are from the Owner of the Kingdom, then what pleases me and what makes me weep are both the same to me."

_Alā yā Rasūla Allāhi yā khayra mursalin / Samawta ‘ani al-akwāni faḍlan mina al-malki_

O Messenger of Allah, O best of those sent, you have transcended all universes by a grace from the King.

_Wa yasmū bika al-maddāḥu fawqa qurūnihi / Wa law qaṣṣarat a‘mālahu qillat al-nuski_

Through you, the praiser rises above his peers, even if a lack of devotion has caused his deeds to fall short.

_Rafa‘tu ilā Ṭāha al-amīnī shikāyatī / Wa lam yulqa dhū shakwā ilayhi fa-lam yushki_

I raised my complaint to the trustworthy Taha, and never was a possessor of a grievance found turning to him without being relieved.

_Faqad kāna yushkī lil-jamāli wa innahu / La-ashkā ghazālan qad shaka khīfata al-fatki_

He used to remove the grievances of the camels, and indeed he relieved the gazelle who complained out of fear of being slaughtered.

_Wa dhā al-nūni qad ashkāhu min ba‘di Yūsufi / Wa ābā’ihi ṭurran mina al-fatki wa al-hatki_

He relieved the "Person of the Fish" (Jonah) just as he did Joseph and all his forefathers from destruction and violation.

_Wa ḥāṣilu hādhā al-qawli annaka raḥmatun / Mina Allāhi mawlā al-khalqi fī al-barri wa al-fullki_

The sum of this speech is that you are a mercy from Allah, the Master of creation on land and at sea.

_Fa-lam yakhsha ‘abdun mā baqīta ḍayā‘ahu / Wa lam yakhsha ahlu al-ḥaqqi kayda dhawī al-ifikki_

No servant fears being lost as long as you remain, and the people of truth do not fear the plots of the people of falsehood.

I thank a Lord who inspired the servant with his rectitude, for even the least of my followers is free from polytheism.

_Wa dhālika faḍlu Allāhi fa-al-‘abdu ‘ājizun / ‘Alā waṣli ḥaqqin aw mujānabat al-shakki_

That is the grace of Allah, for the servant is incapable of reaching the Truth or avoiding doubt on his own.

_Ṣalātun wa taslīmun ‘alā Ṭāha Aḥmadin / Wa ālin wa aṣḥābin sarātin ‘alā al-bunki_

Blessings and peace be upon Taha Ahmad, and the family and companions, the noble leaders upon the high thrones.
