Harfus Siini · حرف السين

سَلاَمٌ عَلَى مُزْنٍ لِلْأَسْرَارِ بَالِـغِ
وَمَرْكَزِ آلاَءِ الْإِلَــــهِ السَّوَابِـغِ

Salāmun ‘alā Muznin lil-asrāri bāliġ
Wa markazi ālā’i al-ilāhi al-sawābiġ

Peace be upon the rain cloud that reaches the deepest secrets and the center of the abundant favors of God.

فَهُو الدُّرَّةُ الْبَيْضَاءُ أَوَّلُ حَامِدٍ
وَمَعْدِنُ تَحْقِيقٍ وَأَوَّلُ دَامِـغِ

Fahuwa al-durratu al-bayḍā’u awwalu ḥāmidin
Wa ma‘dinu taḥqīqin wa awwalu dāmiġ

For he is the White Pearl, the first to offer praise, the mine of realization, and the first to vanquish falsehood.

وَأَوَّلُ تَوْحِيــــدٍ وَأَوَّلُ قَائِــــمٍ
وَأَوَّلُ مَوْصُولٍ إِلَى الْحَقِّ بَالِـغِ

Wa awwalu tawḥīdin wa awwalu qā’im
Wa awwalu mawṣūlin ilā al-ḥaqqi bāliġ

He is the first in monotheism, the first to stand in worship, and the first connected one to reach the Truth.

فَسُبْحَانَ رَبٍّ قَدَّسَ الْعَبْدَ سِـــرَّهُ
بِنُورٍ نَفَى الْأَنْوَارَ مِنْ كُلِّ بَازِغِ

Fa subḥāna rabbin quddasa al-‘abda sirrahu
Bi-nūrin nafa al-anwāra min kulli bāziġ

Glory be to the Lord who sanctified the secret of the servant with a light that surpassed the lights of every other rising star.

مُحَمَّدُ عَبْدُ اللّٰهِ طَـــــهَ أُحِبُّـــــــهُ
بِحُبِّ إِلَهِ الْخَلْقِ مُسْدِي الْبَوَازِغِ

Muḥammadun ‘abdu Allāhi Ṭahā uḥibbuhu
Bi-ḥubbi ilahi al-khalqi musaddī al-bawāziġ

Muhammad, the servant of Allah, Taha—I love him with the love of the God of creation, the Bestower of radiant gifts.

كَفَانِي افْتِخَارًا أَنْ شُغِفْتُ بِحُبِّهِ
سَكِرْتُ بِخَمْرٍ مِنْ وِدَادِكَ سَابِغِ

Kafānī iftikhāran an shugiftu bi-ḥubbihi
Sakirtu bi-khamrin min widdādika sābighi

It is enough pride for me that I am infatuated with his love; I have become intoxicated by the delicious wine of your affection.

كَفَانِي بِأَنَّ طَـــــهَ وَحَّــــدَ رَبَّهُ
وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ رَادِعًا كُلَّ زَائِــغِ

Kafānī bi-anna Ṭahā waḥḥada rabbahu
Wa athnā ‘alayhi rādi‘an kulla zā’iġ

It is enough for me that Taha declared the Oneness of his Lord and praised Him, deterring every person who swerves from the truth.

عَلَى عَابِدِ الذَّاتِ الْمُقَرَّبِ دَائِمًا
صَلاَةٌ وَتَسْلِيمٌ عَدِيدَ الْبَــوَازِغِ

‘Alā ‘ābidi al-dhāti al-muqarrabi dā’imān
Ṣalātun wa taslīmun ‘adīda al-bawāziġ

Upon the worshiper of the Divine Essence, the one ever-near, be prayers and peace as numerous as the rising stars.

وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَابٍ مَدَى قَوْلِ شَيِّقٍ
سَلاَمٌ عَلَى مُزْنٍ لِلْأَسْرَارِ بَالِـــغِ

Wa ālin wa aṣḥābin madā qawli shayyiqin
Salāmun ‘alā Muznin lil-asrāri bāliġi

And upon the family and companions, as long as a longing lover says: "Peace be upon the rain cloud that reaches the deepest secrets."
