# Harfus Siini · حرف السين

**1.** سَلاَمٌ عَلَى مُزْنٍ لِلْأَسْرَارِ بَالِـغِ / وَمَرْكَزِ آلاَءِ الْإِلَــــهِ السَّوَابِـغِ

_Salāmun ‘alā Muznin lil-asrāri bāliġ / Wa markazi ālā’i al-ilāhi al-sawābiġ_

Peace be upon the rain cloud that reaches the deepest secrets and the center of the abundant favors of God.

**2.** فَهُو الدُّرَّةُ الْبَيْضَاءُ أَوَّلُ حَامِدٍ / وَمَعْدِنُ تَحْقِيقٍ وَأَوَّلُ دَامِـغِ

_Fahuwa al-durratu al-bayḍā’u awwalu ḥāmidin / Wa ma‘dinu taḥqīqin wa awwalu dāmiġ_

For he is the White Pearl, the first to offer praise, the mine of realization, and the first to vanquish falsehood.

**3.** وَأَوَّلُ تَوْحِيــــدٍ وَأَوَّلُ قَائِــــمٍ / وَأَوَّلُ مَوْصُولٍ إِلَى الْحَقِّ بَالِـغِ

_Wa awwalu tawḥīdin wa awwalu qā’im / Wa awwalu mawṣūlin ilā al-ḥaqqi bāliġ_

He is the first in monotheism, the first to stand in worship, and the first connected one to reach the Truth.

**4.** فَسُبْحَانَ رَبٍّ قَدَّسَ الْعَبْدَ سِـــرَّهُ / بِنُورٍ نَفَى الْأَنْوَارَ مِنْ كُلِّ بَازِغِ

_Fa subḥāna rabbin quddasa al-‘abda sirrahu / Bi-nūrin nafa al-anwāra min kulli bāziġ_

Glory be to the Lord who sanctified the secret of the servant with a light that surpassed the lights of every other rising star.

**5.** مُحَمَّدُ عَبْدُ اللّٰهِ طَـــــهَ أُحِبُّـــــــهُ / بِحُبِّ إِلَهِ الْخَلْقِ مُسْدِي الْبَوَازِغِ

_Muḥammadun ‘abdu Allāhi Ṭahā uḥibbuhu / Bi-ḥubbi ilahi al-khalqi musaddī al-bawāziġ_

Muhammad, the servant of Allah, Taha—I love him with the love of the God of creation, the Bestower of radiant gifts.

**6.** كَفَانِي افْتِخَارًا أَنْ شُغِفْتُ بِحُبِّهِ / سَكِرْتُ بِخَمْرٍ مِنْ وِدَادِكَ سَابِغِ

_Kafānī iftikhāran an shugiftu bi-ḥubbihi / Sakirtu bi-khamrin min widdādika sābighi_

It is enough pride for me that I am infatuated with his love; I have become intoxicated by the delicious wine of your affection.

**7.** كَفَانِي بِأَنَّ طَـــــهَ وَحَّــــدَ رَبَّهُ / وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ رَادِعًا كُلَّ زَائِــغِ

_Kafānī bi-anna Ṭahā waḥḥada rabbahu / Wa athnā ‘alayhi rādi‘an kulla zā’iġ_

It is enough for me that Taha declared the Oneness of his Lord and praised Him, deterring every person who swerves from the truth.

**8.** عَلَى عَابِدِ الذَّاتِ الْمُقَرَّبِ دَائِمًا / صَلاَةٌ وَتَسْلِيمٌ عَدِيدَ الْبَــوَازِغِ

_‘Alā ‘ābidi al-dhāti al-muqarrabi dā’imān / Ṣalātun wa taslīmun ‘adīda al-bawāziġ_

Upon the worshiper of the Divine Essence, the one ever-near, be prayers and peace as numerous as the rising stars.

**9.** وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَابٍ مَدَى قَوْلِ شَيِّقٍ / سَلاَمٌ عَلَى مُزْنٍ لِلْأَسْرَارِ بَالِـــغِ

_Wa ālin wa aṣḥābin madā qawli shayyiqin / Salāmun ‘alā Muznin lil-asrāri bāliġi_

And upon the family and companions, as long as a longing lover says: "Peace be upon the rain cloud that reaches the deepest secrets."
