From Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست by Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass
Laqad fāḥa lī min nashri Aḥmada fā’iḥu
Fa-yaḥrimunī nawmī ad-dumū‘u as-sawāfiḥu
A fragrant scent from the essence of Ahmad has wafted toward me, And so, my pouring tears deprive me of my sleep.
Taqaṭṭa‘a akbādī bi-‘ishqin wa-maṭma‘in
Tanāza‘ahu ya’sun fa-ḍāqa al-jawāniḥu
My heart (liver) is torn by a love and a longing— Contested by despair, until my chest grew tight with emotion.
Ḥamidtu ilāhī idh bulītu bi-ḥubbihi
Fa-minhu badā lil-‘ālamīna al-maṣāliḥu
I praised my God for being tested with his love, For through him, all benefits appeared to the worlds.

Through him, I attained what is beyond limit, by [Divine] grace; My life is blessedness (Tuba), and my death in him is righteous.
Laka al-ḥamdu kullu al-ḥamdi shukran wa-ṣalliyan

To You belongs all praise in gratitude; and send Your blessings Upon the one for whose loftiness all praises become sweet.
Laka al-ḥamdu yā mawlāya ḥaqqan wa-ṣalliyan
‘Alayhi madā al-ayyāmi mā nāḥa nā’iḥu
To You belongs all praise, O my Lord, in truth; and send Your blessings Upon him as long as days endure and the dove laments.
Muḥammadu ‘abdullāhi Aḥmadu Ḥāmidun
Tabaddat lanā minhu al-munā wal-manā’iḥu
Muhammad, the servant of Allah, Ahmad, the seeker of praise; Through him, our hopes and divine gifts were manifested to us.
Nafā ‘an duyūrī kulla bu’sin wa-ghummatin
Wa-ṭayrin wa-shu’min qad turīhā al-bawāriḥu
He banished from my lands all misery and grief, And every ill omen or bad luck brought by the desert winds.
Wa-alhamanā dhikra al-ilāhi wa-madḥa man
Tukillu ladā adnā thanāhu al-qarā’iḥu
He inspired us to remember God and to praise the one Whose lowest station of praise exhausts the greatest of minds.
Tabaddat lahu dhātu al-muhaymini sādhijan
Wa-dhālika marman kalla ‘anhu al-qawāriḥu
The Essence of the Protector (God) appeared to him in its pure simplicity— A goal that even the strongest of spirits fail to reach.

‘Alayhi ṣalātu rabbihi ḥaqqa qadrihi
Wa-mā fāḥa ‘inda al-ikhtitāmi al-fawā’iḥu
Upon him be the blessings of his Lord, as is his true worth, And as long as fragrances continue to waft at every conclusion.
