**1.** مُحَمَّدُ مَاحِي الْكُفْرِ بِالْـهَـدْيِ مُخْلِصَا / مُفِيدَ الْجَدَى وَالْمُنْتَقَى الْمُتَرَبِّصَــــا

_Muḥammadu māḥī al-kufri bil-hadyi mukhliṣā / Mufīda al-jadā wal-muntaqā al-mutarabbiṣā_

Muhammad is the eraser of disbelief through guidance, sincere in his purpose; the bestower of benefit and the chosen one who was awaited.

**2.** إِمَامٌ أَتَـــى لِلْأَنْبِيَـــــــــــا مُتَقَدِّمًـــا / وَعَمَّمَ نَفْعًا لِلْبَرِيَّــــــةِ مُخْلِصَـــا

_Imāmun atā lil-anbiyā’i mutaqaddiman / Wa-‘ammama naf‘an lil-bariyyati mukhliṣā_

A leader who came preceding all the Prophets, spreading benefit to all of creation with pure sincerity.

**3.** فَسِرٌّ سَرَى فِي الْكَائِنَاتِ مُعَمَّمًـــا / وَبِالْعِزِّ وَالتَّمْجِيدِ كَانَ مُخَصَّصَا

_Fa-sirrun sarā fī al-kā’ināti mu‘ammaman / Wa-bil-‘izzi wal-tamjīdi kāna mukhaṣṣaṣā_

He is a Secret that flowed through all beings, universally manifest, yet he was specially designated with might and glorification.

**4.** هُوَ الشَّمْسُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ عَمَّ نُـــورُهُ / هُوَ الْغَيْثُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ الدَّهْرَ قَلَّصَا

_Huwa ash-shamsu illā annahu ‘amma nūruhu / Huwa al-ghaythu illā annahu ad-dahra qallaṣā_

He is the sun, except that his light is even more encompassing; he is the rain, except that he has brought an end to spiritual drought for all time.

**5.** عَلَيْهِ صَلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُــــهُ / صَلاَةً تُرَقِّينَا إِلَى مَا تَخَصَّصَـا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Ṣalātan turaqqīnā ilā mā takhaṣṣaṣā_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace—a prayer that elevates us toward the station for which he was specifically chosen.
