**1.** ثَقِفْتُ اعْوِجَاجَ الْخَلْقِ وَالْكُـلُّ يَغْبِـــطُ / مَقَامِي لَدَى الْمَاحِي وَبِالْفَيْضِ يَبْسُطُ

_Thaqiftu ‘iwijāja al-khalqi wal-kullu yaghbiṭu / Maqāmī lada al-Māḥī wa-bil-fayḍi yabsuṭu_

I have straightened the crookedness of creation, and everyone envies my station with the Eraser (the Prophet), who spreads grace through the divine overflow.

**2.** فَهُو صِفَةٌ وَاسْـــــمٌ وَذَاتٌ وَغَـيْبُهَــا / وَهُو قَاسِمٌ عَدْلٌ كَرِيـــــمٌ وَمُقْسِـــطُ

_Fa-huwa ṣifatun wa-smun wa-dhātun wa-ghaybuhā / Fa-huwa qāsimun ‘adlun karīmun wa-muqsiṭu_

For he is the Attribute, the Name, the Essence, and their Unseen; he is the just distributor, generous and equitable.

**3.** تَنَوَّرْتُــــهُ فِـي حَالَتَيـــــهِ فَهَالَنِـــــي / كَمَالُ جَمَــــــالٍ لِلْمَدِيــــحِ يُنَشِّــــطُ

_Tanawwartuhu fī ḥālatayhi fa-hālanī / Kamālu jamālin lil-madīḥi yunashshiṭu_

I perceived his light in both of his states, and I was awestruck by a perfection of beauty that invigorates one to sing his praises.

**4.** أُنَادِيهِ يَا طَــــهَ الْأَمِينُ وَعَاقِــــبٌ / وَحَاشِرُ وَالْـهَادِي وَأَحْمَدُ أَخْبِـــطُ

_Unādīhi yā Ṭāhā al-amīnu wa-‘āqibun / Wa-ḥāshiru wal-Hādī wa-Aḥmadu akhbiṭu_

I call upon him: O Taha, the Trustworthy, the Final Successor, the Gatherer, the Guide, and Ahmad—as I travel through the spiritual paths.

**5.** مُحَمَّدُ يَاسِينٌ وَحَامِدُ مُصْطَفًىــى / كَرِيمُ السَّجَايَا وَصْفُهُ لَيْسَ يُضْبَطُ

_Muḥammadu Yāsīnun wa-ḥāmidu muṣṭafā / Karīmu al-sajāyā waṣfuhu laysa yuḍbaṭu_

Muhammad, Yasin, the Praiser, the Chosen One; noble in character, his description cannot be fully encompassed.

**6.** عَلَيْهِ صَـــــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / بِهَا يَرْتَقِي مَنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَرَّطُوا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Bihā yartaqī man kāna min qablu farraṭū_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, through which those who previously fell short may ascend.

**7.** عَلَيْهِ صَلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــــمَّ سَلاَمُــــــهُ / بِهَا أَقْتَنِي مَا لاَ يُشَــابُ فَيُحْبَــــطُ

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Bihā aqtanī mā lā yushābu fa-yuḥbaṭu_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, through which I acquire that which is pure and cannot be frustrated or spoiled.

**8.** عَلَيْهِ صَـــــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ سَلاَمُــــهُ / بِهَا أَسْبِقُ الْأَقْطَابَ طُرًّا وَأَفْرُطُ

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Bihā asbiqu al-aqṭāba ṭurran wa-afruṭu_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, through which I surpass all the spiritual "Poles" and lead the way.

**9.** عَلَيْهِ صَــــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ سَلاَمُــــهُ / صَلاَةً تُرَبِّي الْعَالَمِينَ وَتُنْشِطُ

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Ṣalātan turabbī al-‘ālamīna wa-tunashshiṭu_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace—a prayer that nurtures the worlds and revitalizes them.

**10.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُــــهُ / مَعَ الْآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ الَّذِينَ قَدْ أُغْبِطُوا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Ma‘a al-āli wa-ṣ-ṣaḥbi alladhīna qad ughbiṭū_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, along with the family and the companions who were rightfully envied for their rank.
