# Harful Haa · حرف الهاء

**1.** سَلاَمٌ عَلَى طَــــهَ الْأَمِينِ الْوَجِيــهِ / لَــدَى الْحَضْرَةِ الْعَلْيَا النَّزِيهِ النَّبِيهِ

_Salāmun ʿalā Ṭāhā al-Amīni al-wajīhi / ladā al-ḥaḍrati al-ʿulyā al-nazīhi al-nabīhi_

Peace be upon Taha, the Trustworthy, the Eminent in the High Presence, the Pure and the Distinguished.

**2.** سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْــــهِ مِــنْ خَدِيـــمٍ مُتَيَّــمٍ / بِحُسْنِ مُحَيًّا مَـــا لَــهُ مِــنْ شَبِيهِ

_Salāmun ʿalayhi min khadīmin mutayyamin / bi-ḥusni muḥayyan mā lahu min shabīhi_

Peace be upon him from a captivated servant, enamored by the beauty of a countenance that has no equal.

**3.** مُحَيًّا بِهِ شَمْسُ النَّهَارِ قَدْ أَشْرَقَتْ / يَفُــوزُ خَدِيـــمٌ قَـــدْ تَأَمَّـــلَ فِيـــهِ

_Muḥayyan bihi shamsu al-nahāri qad ashraqat / yafūzu khadīmun qad ta’ammala fīhi_

A countenance by which the sun of the day has shone; successful is the servant who has meditated upon it.

**4.** عَلَى أَحْمَدٍ خَيْرِ الْوَرَى حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ / صَـــلاَةٌ وَتَسْلِيـــمٌ عَدِيــدَ سِنِيـــهِ

_ʿAlā Aḥmada khayri al-warā ḥaqqa qadrihi / ṣalātun wa-taslīmun ʿadīda sinīhi_

Upon Ahmad, the best of mankind, according to his true stature, be blessings and peace for the number of his years.

**5.** عَلَيْـــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / تُـبَـعِّـــدُ أَعْدَائِـــي وَكُـلَّ سَفِيـــهِ

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / tubaʿʿidu aʿdā’ī wa-kulla safīhi_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace, distancing my enemies and every foolish person.

**6.** فَهُــوَ سِلاَحِي وَهْوَ سَيْفِي وَمِغْفَرِي / بِـــــهِ رُدَّ عَنِّـــي مَكْــرُ كُـلِّ فَقِيـــهِ

_Fahuwa silāḥī wa-huwa sayfī wa-mighfarī / bihi rudda ʿannī makru kulli faqīhi_

For he is my weapon, he is my sword, and he is my helmet; through him, the plotting of every (hostile) jurist is repelled from me.

**7.** عَلَيْـــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / وَيَشْفَــــعُ فِينَـا فَهْـوَ خَيْــرُ وَجِيــهِ

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa-yashfaʿu fīnā fahuwa khayru wajīhi_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; he shall intercede for us, for he is the best of the eminent.

**8.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / بِهَا يَصْطَفِينِـي فَــوْقَ كُلِّ نَزِيــهِ

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / bihā yaṣṭafīnī fawqa kulli nazīhi_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; through them, He chooses me above every pure person.

**9.** عَلَيْـــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَـــابٍ وَكُلِّ ذَوِيــهِ

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa-ālin wa-aṣḥābin wa-kulli dhawīhi_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace, and upon the Family, the Companions, and all those related to him.

**10.** عَلَيْــهِ مِــنَ الْعَبْدِ الْخَدِيمِ تَحِيَّــةٌ / تَفُوقُ تَحَايَــا الْكُـلِّ فُـــوهُ لِفِيــهِ

_ʿAlayhi min al-ʿabdi al-khadīmi taḥiyyatun / tafūqu taḥāyā al-kulli fūhu li-fīhi_

Upon him from this devoted servant is a greeting that surpasses the greetings of everyone, face to face (mouth to mouth).
