# Al-Yaa’u Aydan · الياء أيضاً

**1.** عَسَانَا بِجَاهِ الْمُصْطَفَى نُرْزَقُ السُّقْيَا / فَهُـــوَ كَرِيـــمٌ مَــنْ أَتَاهُ يَنَـــلْ بُغْيَــا

_ʿAsānā bi-jāhi al-Muṣṭafā nurzaqu al-suqyā / fahuwa karīmun man atāhu yanal bughyā_

May we, by the rank of the Chosen One, be granted the spiritual watering, for he is a generous one; whoever comes to him attains his desire.

**2.** بَقَـــتْ سَرْمَــــــدًا آيَاتُـــهُ وَكِتَابُـــهُ / كَفَانَا مِنَ الْآيَـاتِ إِذْ زَحْــزَحَ الْغَيَّــا

_Baqat sarmadan āyātuhu wa-kitābuhu / kafānā min al-āyāti idh zaḥzaḥa al-ghayyā_

His signs and his Book have remained eternally; sufficient for us are the signs through which he removed all misguidance.

**3.** بِهِ قَدْ سَقَانِــــــي حُــبُّ أَحْمَــدَ قَرْقَفًــا / سَكِرْتُ فَلاَ أَصْحُو حَيَاتِي مَدَى الدُّنْيَا

_Bihi qad saqānī ḥubbu Aḥmada qarqafan / sakirtu falā aṣḥū ḥayātī madā al-dunyā_

Through him, the love of Ahmad has given me a pure wine to drink; I am intoxicated and shall not sober up throughout my life in this world.

**4.** سَقَى اللّٰهُ أَرْضًـــــا بِالْعَقِيـقِ وَسَلْعِــهِ / مَقَــــرَّ حَبِيـــبِ اللّٰهِ سَقْيًـــا لَـهَا سَقْيَــا

_Saqā Allāhu arḍan bi-l-ʿAqīqi wa-Salʿihi / maqarra ḥabībi Allāhi suqyan lahā suqyā_

May Allah water the land of Al-Aqiq and its Mount Sal’, the residence of the Beloved of Allah—may it be watered again and again.

**5.** عَلَيْـــــــهِ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / بِهَا مَوْتُ نَفْسِي وَالْفُـــؤَادُ بِهَا يَهْيَـــا

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / bihā mawtu nafsī wa-l-fu’ādu bihā yaḥyā_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace, through which the ego dies while the heart comes to life.

**6.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / أَكُونُ بِهَا حُلْوَ الْمَمَاتِ كَذَا الْمَحْيَـــا

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / akūnu bihā ḥulwa al-mamāti kadhā al-maḥyā_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; through them, may my death be as sweet as my life.

**7.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / بِهَا أَرْتَقِي دَهْرِي إِلَى الذِّرْوَةِ الْعُلْيَا

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / bihā artaqī dahrī ila al-dhirwati al-ʿulyā_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; through them, I ascend throughout my time to the loftiest peak.

**8.** عَلَيْـــهِ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / بِهَا أَبَدًا لِلْعَبْــدِ بِالْمُصْطَفَــى اللُّقْيَــا

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / bihā abadan lil-ʿabdi bi-l-Muṣṭafā al-luqyā_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; through them, the servant may eternally attain a meeting with the Chosen One.

**9.** عَلَيْـــهِ صَـــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / تُدَارِكُنِي فَضْلاً لِمَا فَاتَنِــي سَعْيَــا

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / tudārikunī faḍlan limā fātanī saʿyā_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; may they reach me with grace for all the efforts I have missed.

**10.** عَلَيْهِ مَــعَ الْآلِ الْكِــــرَامِ وَصَحْبِــهِ / مَدَى كَوْنِنَا بِالْمُصْطَفَى نُرْزَقُ السُّقْيَا

_ʿAlayhi maʿa al-āli al-kirāmi wa-ṣaḥbihi / madā kawninā bi-l-Muṣṭafā nurzaqu al-suqyā_

Upon him, along with the noble Family and his Companions, as long as we exist, may we be granted the spiritual watering through the Chosen One.
