**1.** رِضَا الْمُنْحَمِنَّا مَطْلَبِـي حَيْثُمَا نِلْـــتُ / رِضَاهُ حَوَتْ كَفِّي جَمِيعَ الَّذِي رُمْتُ

_Riḍā al-Munḥaminnā maṭlabī ḥaythumā niltu / Riḍāhu ḥawat kaffī jamī‘a alladhī rumtu_

The pleasure of the "Munhaminna" is my quest wherever I may be; if I attain his pleasure, my hands have grasped everything I ever sought.

**2.** وَيَصْغُرُ فِي عَيْنِــي تِلاَدِي وَطَارِفِـي / لِدَرْكِ رِضَى الْمَاحِي حَيَاتِي وَإِنْ مِتُّ

_Wa-yaṣghuru fī ‘aynī tilādī wa-ṭārifī / Li-darki riḍā al-Māḥī ḥayātī wa-in mittu_

My inherited wealth and my newly acquired riches seem small in my eyes compared to reaching the pleasure of the Eraser, throughout my life and even if I die.

**3.** فَقَوْلِي إِلَى تَصْوِيـــرِ مَدْحِـــكَ صَــادِقٌ / وَدَلَّ عَلَى صِدْقِي جَمِيـــعُ الَّذِي قُلْــتُ

_Fa-qawlī ilā taṣwīri madḥika ṣādiqun / Wa-dalla ‘alā ṣidqī jamī‘u alladhī qultu_

My words in depicting your praise are truthful, and everything I have uttered serves as evidence of my sincerity.

**4.** فَكُلِّـــــيَ مَشْغُـــــــــولٌ بِكُــــلِّ مُحَمَّـــدٍ / وَلَمْ أَتَّخِذْ خِــــلاًّ سِـــــوَاهُ وَمَا نِلْـــتُ

_Fa-kulliya mashghūlun bi-kulli Muḥammadin / Wa-lam attakhidh khillan siwāhu wa-mā niltu_

My entire being is occupied with every aspect of Muhammad; I have taken no intimate friend besides him, nor have I sought one.

**5.** وَلَــــكِ اقْتِفَــــــــا آثَـــــارِهِ وَفِعَالِــــهِ / عَسِيرٌ عَلَى الْأَعْضَاءِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَا تُبْتُ

_Wa-lākin iqtifā āthārihi wa-fi‘ālihi / ‘Asīrun ‘alā al-a‘ḍā’i min ajli dhā tubtu_

However, following his footsteps and his actions is difficult for the physical limbs, and for that reason, I have repented.

**6.** عَلَيْـــــهِ صَـــــــــلاَةُ اللَّهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / بِكَثْرَةِ تَسْلِيمِي عَلَى الْمُصْطَفَى ، فُقْـتُ

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Bi-kathrati taslīmī ‘alā al-Muṣṭafā fuqtu_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; through the abundance of my salutations upon the Chosen One, I have surpassed others.

**7.** عَلَيْهِ مَــعَ الْآلِ الْكِـــــرَامِ وَصَحْبِـــهِ / صَـــلاَةٌ وَتَسْلِيــــمٌ فَإِنِّـــي بِهِ فُـــزْتُ

_‘Alayhi ma‘a al-āli al-kirāmi wa-ṣaḥbihi / Ṣalātun wa-taslīmun fa-innī bihi fuztu_

Upon him, along with the noble family and his companions, be prayer and peace, for indeed through him I have triumphed.
