Harful Jiim · حَرْفُ الْجِيمِ

يُصَاحِبُنِــي حُـــبُّ النَّبِـــيِّ وَأَنْسِــجُ
مَدَائِحَــــهُ وَالنَّفْــــــسُ مِنِّـــيَ تَبْهَــجُ

Yuṣāḥibunī ḥubbu al-nabiyyi wa-ansiju
Madā’iḥahu wal-nafsu minniya tabhaju

The love of the Prophet accompanies me as I weave his praises, and my soul finds delight within me.

يَقِينًا يَقِينِــــي الْمُصْطَفَــى وَيُنِيلُنِــي
مُـــــرَادِي فَإِنِّــي بِالْمَدَائِـــحِ أَلْـهَــجُ

Yaqīnan yaqīnī al-Muṣṭafā wa-yunīlunī
Murādī fa-innī bil-madā’iḥi alhaju

Certainly, the Chosen One is my protection and he grants me my desire, for I am ever-devoted to his praises.

أُنَـــادِي رَسُـــولَ اللّٰهِ فِـي كُلِّ حَالَـةٍ
إِلَيْهِ مَسِيرِي فَهْــوَ قَصْــدٌ وَمَنْهَــجُ

Unādī Rasūla Allāhi fī kulli ḥālatin
Ilayhi masīrī fa-huwa qaṣdun wa-manhaju

I call upon the Messenger of Allah in every state; my journey is toward him, for he is the goal and the clear path.

وَرَاحِلَــــــةٌ وَهْـــوَ الْمَـــزَادُ فَإِنَّــهُ
رَسُولٌ مِنَ الْمَوْلَى إِلَى النُّورِ يُخْرِجُ

Wa-rāḥilatun wa-huwa al-mazādu fa-innahu
Rasūlun mina al-mawlā ila al-nūri yukhriju

He is the traveling mount and he is the provision, for he is a Messenger from the Master who leads [creation] into the Light.

عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ
وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَـــابٍ سَمَـوْا وَتَبَلَّجُــوا

‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu
Wa-ālin wa-asḥābin samaw wa-taballajū

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, and upon the family and companions who rose high and shone brightly.
