# Harful Jiim · حَرْفُ الْجِيمِ

**1.** يُصَاحِبُنِــي حُـــبُّ النَّبِـــيِّ وَأَنْسِــجُ / مَدَائِحَــــهُ وَالنَّفْــــــسُ مِنِّـــيَ تَبْهَــجُ

_Yuṣāḥibunī ḥubbu al-nabiyyi wa-ansiju / Madā’iḥahu wal-nafsu minniya tabhaju_

The love of the Prophet accompanies me as I weave his praises, and my soul finds delight within me.

**2.** يَقِينًا يَقِينِــــي الْمُصْطَفَــى وَيُنِيلُنِــي / مُـــــرَادِي فَإِنِّــي بِالْمَدَائِـــحِ أَلْـهَــجُ

_Yaqīnan yaqīnī al-Muṣṭafā wa-yunīlunī / Murādī fa-innī bil-madā’iḥi alhaju_

Certainly, the Chosen One is my protection and he grants me my desire, for I am ever-devoted to his praises.

**3.** أُنَـــادِي رَسُـــولَ اللّٰهِ فِـي كُلِّ حَالَـةٍ / إِلَيْهِ مَسِيرِي فَهْــوَ قَصْــدٌ وَمَنْهَــجُ

_Unādī Rasūla Allāhi fī kulli ḥālatin / Ilayhi masīrī fa-huwa qaṣdun wa-manhaju_

I call upon the Messenger of Allah in every state; my journey is toward him, for he is the goal and the clear path.

**4.** وَرَاحِلَــــــةٌ وَهْـــوَ الْمَـــزَادُ فَإِنَّــهُ / رَسُولٌ مِنَ الْمَوْلَى إِلَى النُّورِ يُخْرِجُ

_Wa-rāḥilatun wa-huwa al-mazādu fa-innahu / Rasūlun mina al-mawlā ila al-nūri yukhriju_

He is the traveling mount and he is the provision, for he is a Messenger from the Master who leads [creation] into the Light.

**5.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَـــابٍ سَمَـوْا وَتَبَلَّجُــوا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Wa-ālin wa-asḥābin samaw wa-taballajū_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, and upon the family and companions who rose high and shone brightly.
