# Harful Khaa · حَرْفُ الْخَاءِ

**1.** خَدِيمٌ ثَوَى بِالْبَابِ والْحُبُّ رَاسِـــخُ / بِقَلْبٍ لَهُ وَهْـــــوَ الْمَدَائِـــحَ نَاسِــخُ

_Khadīmun thawā bil-bābi wal-ḥubbu rāsikhu / Bi-qalbin lahu wa-huwa al-madā’iḥa nāsikhu_

A servant has stationed himself at the gate, with a love that is firmly rooted within a heart that is ever-composing his praises.

**2.** خِتَـــــامَ نِظَـــــامٍ لِلنُّـبُـــوَّةِ فَاقْبَلَـــنْ / مُحِبًّا مُسِيئًا قَـــدْ أَتَى وَهْوَ صَـارِخُ

_Khitāma niẓāmin lil-nubuwwati fa-qbalan / Muḥibban musī’an qad atā wa-huwa ṣārikhu_

O Seal of the Order of Prophethood, accept a lover who has erred and has come crying out to you.

**3.** خِصَالُ الْمَعَالِي قَدْ حَوَيْتَ جَمِيعَ مَا / تَفَرَّقَ فِي الْأَرْسَالِ فَالْمَجْــدُ شَامِـخُ

_Khiṣālu al-ma‘ālī qad ḥawayta jamī‘a mā / Tafarraqa fī al-arsāli fal-majdu shāmikhu_

You have encompassed all the noble qualities that were dispersed among the previous Messengers, for your glory is towering.

**4.** عَلَيْـــكَ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / بِهَا كُلُّ شَأْنِي لِلشُّـــــؤُونِ نَوَاسِــخُ

_‘Alayka ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Bihā kullu sha’nī lil-shu’ūni nawāsikhu_

Upon you be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; through it, may my current state abrogate all other affairs.

**5.** عَلَيْــــكَ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ / وَآلٍ وَصَحْبٍ حُبُّهُمْ فِيـكَ رَاسِـخُ

_‘Alayka ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Wa-ālin wa-ṣaḥbin ḥubbuhum fīka rāsikhu_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, and upon the family and companions whose love for you is firmly rooted.
