# Harfud Dwaad · حَرْفُ الضَّادِ

**1.** سَلاَمٌ عَلَى خَيْـــــــرِ الْأَنَامِ الَّذِي أَضَـــا / بِهِ الْحَقُّ نَهْجَ الْحَقِّ وَهْوَ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى

_Salāmun ‘alā khayri al-anāmi alladhī aḍā / Bihi al-ḥaqqu nahja al-ḥaqqi wa-huwa alladhī artaḍā_

Peace be upon the best of mankind, through whom the Truth illuminated the path of Truth, and he is the one whom He was pleased with.

**2.** سَلاَمٌ عَلَى نَجْلِ الْعَوَاتِـــــكِ خَيْرِ مَـــنْ / دَعَى الْخَلْقَ لِلْمَوْلَى وَقَدْ أَحْسَنَ الْقَضَا

_Salāmun ‘alā najli al-‘awātiki khayri man / Da‘ā al-khalqa lil-mawlā wa-qad aḥsana al-qaḍā_

Peace be upon the descendant of the noble "Awatik" grandmothers; the best of those who called creation to the Master and fulfilled the Decree perfectly.

**3.** سَـــلاَمٌ عَلَيْـــــهِ وَالسَّـــلاَمُ يَقُودُنِـــــي / إِلَى حَضْرَةِ الْمَاحِي الضَّلاَلَ الَّذِي أَضَا

_Salāmun ‘alayhi wal-salāmu yaqūdunī / Ila ḥaḍrati al-Māḥī al-ḍalāla alladhī aḍā_

Peace be upon him; and may this peace lead me into the presence of the Eraser of misguidance, who shone brightly.

**4.** سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْهِ مِـــــــــنْ خَدِيـــــمٍ مُتَيَّـــمٍ / غَفُولٍ قَضَى مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ كُــلَّ مَا قَضَــى

_Salāmun ‘alayhi min khadīmin mutayyamin / Ghafūlin qaḍā min dhanbihi kulla mā qaḍā_

Peace be upon him from an enslaved servant and lover, a heedless one who has committed whatever sins he has committed.

**5.** سَـلاَمٌ عَلَيْـــــــهِ وَالسَّـــــــلاَمُ مَــــــوَدَّةٌ / وَمَا لِي سِوَى ذَا فِي تَدَارُكِ مَــا مَضَـى

_Salāmun ‘alayhi wal-salāmu mawaddatun / Wa-mā lī siwā dhā fī tadāruki mā maḍā_

Peace be upon him; and this peace is an expression of affection, for I have nothing else to rely on to make up for what has passed.

**6.** سَـــلاَمٌ عَلَيْــــــهِ وَالسَّـــــلاَمُ مُبَلَّــــغٌ / عَلَيْهِ فَمَنْ لِي إِنَّنِـــي عِنْـــدَهُ رِضَـــى

_Salāmun ‘alayhi wal-salāmu muballaghun / ‘Alayhi fa-man lī innanī ‘indahu riḍā_

Peace be upon him; and let this peace be conveyed to him—for who else do I have? Indeed, I seek only his pleasure.
