Harfuz Zwaa ·
From Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست by Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass
Ẓa‘antu ilā khayri al-‘ibādi wa-mā lafaẓ
Lisānī siwāhu bal fu’ādiya mā laḥaẓ
I set out toward the best of servants, and my tongue uttered nothing besides him; indeed, my heart noticed none other.
Fa-‘ish mariḥan mā dumta tadrī Muḥammadan
Fa-dārī sumā al-Ma’mūni fī dahrihi ḥufiẓ
So live joyfully as long as you know Muhammad; for the house that contains the name of the Trustworthy one is preserved throughout time.
Tabas-ṣar fa-inna al-amra bādin wa-ẓāhirun
Fa-afḍalu mab‘ūthin hadā al-nāsa aw wa‘aẓ
Observe clearly, for the matter is manifest and apparent; he is the best of those sent to guide or exhort mankind.
‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu
Ma‘a al-āli wal-asḥābi mā lāfiẓun lafaẓ
Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, along with the family and companions, as long as any speaker utters a word.
