Harful Ghayn ·

From Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست by Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass

Ghina al-nafsi abghīhi wal-ālā’u sābighu
Bi-madḥiya man huwa fī al-sakhā’i mubālighu

I seek the wealth of the soul while blessings are abundant, through my praise of the one who is unsurpassed in generosity.

Yafukku al-asārā yūṣilu al-raḥma kāsiban
Li-mā ‘udimū yu‘ṭī al-qirā wa-yubālighu

He frees the captives, maintains the bonds of kinship, provides for those who have nothing, and offers hospitality to the guest in the most doskonały way.

Asīrun atā ḍayfan bi-bābika mu‘diman
Fa-hal laka fīhi wirduka al-dahra sā’ighu

A captive has come as a guest to your door, utterly destitute; will you not receive him? For your fountain is forever sweet and accessible.

A‘inhu a‘inhu yā mu‘īnu fa-innahu
Faqīrun waqīrun wa-huwa khayruka bālighu

Help him, help him, O Helper, for indeed he is poor and heavily burdened, yet he is reaching for your goodness.

‘Alayka ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu
Wa-ālin wa-ṣaḥbin ḥaqquhum minka dāmighu

Upon you be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, and upon the family and companions whose rights from you are irrefutable.
