فَإِنَّكَ خَيْــــــرُ النَّاسِ أَنْتَ الْمُبَــارِزُ
لِإِعْلاَءِ دِيــــنِ اللّٰهِ أَنْـــتَ الْمُنَاجِــزُ
Fa-innaka khayru al-nāsi anta al-mubārizu
Li-i‘lā’i dīni Allāhi anta al-munājizu
For you are the best of mankind, you are the champion who stands forth to exalt the religion of Allah, and you are the one who fulfills the struggle.
وَإِنَّكَ أَسْخَى النَّاسِ أَشْجَعُ فَارِسٍ
لِذَا دَانَ مَنْ قَدْ كَـــانَ قَبْلُ يُبَــارِزُ
Wa-innaka askhā al-nāsi ashja‘u fārisin
Li-dhā dāna man qad kāna qablu yubārizu
And you are the most generous of people and the bravest horseman; for this reason, those who previously challenged you have now submitted.
قَسَمْتَ وَلَمْ تَبْخَلْ وَمَا فُـهْتَ كَاذِبًا
وَلَسْتَ جَبَانًا مِنْ عَطَاكَ الْجَوَائِــزُ
Qasamta wa-lam tabkhal wa-mā fuhta kādhiban
Wa-lasta jabānan min ‘aṭāka al-jawā’izu
You distributed wealth and were never stingy, and you never uttered a lie; nor are you cowardly in bestowing your rewards.
وَهَـــذَا عُبَيْدٌ قَــدْ أَتَــــى مُتَكَفِّفًـــا
عَلَى أَنَّهُ بِالْحُـــبِّ وَالْحِــبِّ فَائِــزُ
Wa-hādha ‘ubaydun qad atā mutakaffifan
‘Alā annahu bil-ḥubbi wal-ḥibbi fā’izu
And here is a little servant who has come as a beggar, even though through love and the Beloved, he is already a winner.
يَرُومُ مَنَالاً قَـــــدْ تَقَاصَــرَ دُونَـــهُ
فُحُولٌ مَضَوْا لاَ غَرْوَ إِذْ هُوَ جَائِزُ
Yarūmu manālan qad taqāṣara dūnahu
Fuḥūlun maḍaw lā gharwa idh huwa jā’izu
He aims for an attainment that even the great men of the past fell short of; it is no wonder, for through you, such a thing is possible.
عَلَيْـــــــكَ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُـــهُ
وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَابٍ عَلَى الدِّينِ بَارَزُوا
‘Alayka ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu
Wa-ālin wa-asḥābin ‘ala al-dīni bārazū
Upon you be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, and upon the family and companions who stood forth as champions for the religion.
