# Harfus Swaad · حَرْفُ الصَّادِ

**1.** صَفَا لِيَ وَقْتِي وَالْحَبِيــبُ يُخَصِّــصُ / وَإِنِّـيَ مَحْبُــوبٌ لِطَـــهَ مُخَصَّــــصُ

_Ṣafā liya waqtī wal-ḥabību yukhaṣṣiṣu / Wa-inniya maḥbūbun li-Ṭāhā mukhaṣṣaṣu_

My time has become pure, and the Beloved has distinguished me; indeed, I am a beloved specially designated for Taha.

**2.** مُرَادٌ لِحَمْلِ السِّرِّ مِنْ قَبْلِ نَشْأَتِــي / مُرَبٍّ لِكُــلِّ الْعَارِفِينَ وَمُخْلِـــصُ

_Murādun li-ḥamli al-sirri min qabli nash’atī / Murabbin li-kulli al-‘ārifīna wa-mukhliṣu_

I was intended to carry the Secret before my very existence; an educator for all the gnostics and one who is sincere.

**3.** وَإِنْ دَهِشَ الْأَقْطَابُ يَوْمًا بِمَشْهَدٍ / رَأَوْنِـيَ وَانْقَادُوا إِلَيَّ وَأَخْلَصُـوا

_Wa-in dahisha al-aqṭābu yawman bi-mash-hadin / Ra’awniya wan-qādū ilayya wa-akhlaṣū_

And if the "Poles" (Aqtāb) were ever dazed by a spiritual vision, they saw me and submitted to me with sincerity.

**4.** رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ نَــصَّ بِأَنَّنِـــي / سَفِيرٌ لَـــهُ فِي الْكَائِنَاتِ مُخَلِّصُ

_Ra’aytu Rasūla Allāhi naṣ-ṣa bi-annī / Safīrun lahu fī al-kā’ināti mukhalliṣu_

I saw the Messenger of Allah explicitly stating that I am an ambassador for him in all of existence—a savior.

**5.** عَلَيْـــهِ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــــــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / وَآلٍ وَأَصْحَابٍ سَمَوْا وَتَخَصَّصُوا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Wa-ālin wa-asḥābin samaw wa-takhaṣṣaṣū_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace, and upon the family and companions who rose high and were distinguished
