# Harful Yaa · حَرْفُ الْيَاءِ

**1.** يَقِينِي يَقِينِي رَائِحًا فِيــكَ غَادِيَــا / عَلَى رَغْمِ قَالٍ لِلدِّيَانَــــةِ عَادِيَــا

_Yaqīnī yaqīnī rā’iḥan fīka ghādiyā / ‘Alā ragh-mi qālin lid-diyānati ‘ādiyā_

My certainty, my certainty remains in you, in every evening and every morning, despite the words of those who are hostile to the religion.

**2.** يَمِينِي وَخَلْفِي أَحْمَدُ النُّورُ مُرْشِدِي / أَمَامِي إِمَامِي مُهْلِكُ الْكُفْـــرِ مَاحِيَــا

_Yamīnī wa-khalfī Aḥmadu al-nūru murshidī / Amāmī imāmī muhliku al-kuf-ri māḥiyā_

To my Right and Behind me is Ahmad—the Light, my guide; In front of me is my Imam—the destroyer of disbelief, the eraser.

**3.** يَسَارِي يَسَارِي مُصْطَفَى الْكَوْنِ مَسْنَدِي / فَمَنْ كَادَنِـــــي يَلْقَــى الرَّدَى وَالْمَخَازِيَـا

_Yasārī yasārī Muṣṭafā al-kawni masnadī / Faman kādanī yalqā al-radā wal-makhāziyā_

To my Left, to my Left is the Chosen One of the universe—my support; so whoever plots against me shall meet ruin and disgrace.

**4.** يُؤَمِّنُنِــي دُنْيًا وَأُخْـــرًا فَأَقْتَفِــي / مَنَاهِجَــهُ بِالـــرُّوحِ لِلَّهِ سَارِيَـــا

_Yu’amminunī dunyan wa-ukhran fa-aqtafī / Manāhijahu bir-rūḥi lillāhi sāriyā_

He grants me safety in this world and the next; so I follow his paths with my spirit, traveling toward Allah.

**5.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / سَمِيرِي كِتَابُ اللّٰهِ فِي اللَّيْلِ تَالِيَا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Samīrī kitābu Allāhi fī al-layli tāliyā_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; my late-night companion is the Book of Allah, which I recite.

**6.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / تُجِيبُ أَيَا الْمَوْلَى جَمِيعَ دُعَائِيَـــا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Tujību ayā al-Mawlā jamī‘a du‘ā’iyā_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; O Master, [through it] answer all of my supplications!

**7.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / لِأَبْقَى أَشِيدُ الدِّينَ فِي الْجَـوِّ بَانِيَــا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Li-abqā ashīdu al-dīna fī al-jawwi bāniyā_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; so that I may remain building the religion, rising high into the atmosphere.

**8.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / أُدَمِّرُ بِالْمَاحِــي جُمُــوعَ عِدَائِيَــا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Udammiru bil-Māḥī jumū‘a ‘idā’iyā_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; through the "Eraser" (the Prophet), I destroy the gatherings of my enemies.

**9.** عَلَيْــــهِ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / وَآلٍ وَصَحْبٍ شَيَّدُوا الدِّينَ عَالِيَا

_‘Alayhi ṣalātu Allāhi thumma salāmuhu / Wa-ālin wa-ṣaḥ-bin shayyadū al-dīna ‘āliyā_

Upon him be the prayer of Allah and then His peace; and upon the family and companions who built the religion high.
