Harfud Daal ·

From Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست by Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass

Da‘ūnī mina al-tathlīthi ifkun wa-firyatun
Fa-lillāhi kullu al-khal-qi, aḥ-ḥid wa-waḥ-ḥidi

Leave me be regarding the Trinity; it is a lie and a fabrication; for to Allah belongs all creation—so declare His Oneness and unify!

Kafā annahu bāqin qadīmun fa-ḥādithun
Yamūtu ‘ubaydun lil-ilāhi al-muwaḥ-ḥadi

It is sufficient that He is Eternal and Ancient, while anything created must die; a small servant belongs to the Unified God.

Kadhabtum wa-bayti Allāhi na‘-budu ḥādithan
Wa-nan-sā qadīman dhāka ‘aynu tamarrudi

By the House of Allah, you have lied if we were to worship a created thing and forget the Ancient; that is the very essence of rebellion.

Fa-‘Īsā wa-mahmā jalla ḥayyan wa-mayyitan
Famā fīhi min ḍurrin wa-lā dar-ki maq-ṣadi

As for Jesus, however majestic he may be in life or death, he possesses no power to harm nor to grant one's ultimate quest.

Rasūlun karīmun mā ‘aṣā qaṭṭu rabbahu
Wa-huwa ‘ābidun bugh-yāhu riḍwānu sayyidi

He is a noble Messenger who never once disobeyed his Lord; he is a worshiper whose only desire is the pleasure of his Master.

A-ya‘-budu rabbun naf-sahu ḍalla ra’yukum
Wa-ya’kulu muḍ-ṭarran fadhā ghayru mūjadi

Does a Lord worship himself? Your opinion has gone astray! And he ate [food] out of necessity; such a being is not a god.
