From [Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/qasaaid/691f292bc02b144934a4ec1f) by [Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/authors/69172463686829cc1d041df5)

_Hudā-l munḥaminna muʿjibī lastu aʿjabu / li-shay’in mina-l ashyā siwāhu wa arghabu_

The guidance of the Bestower is what pleases me; I do not wonder at anything among all things except him, and him I desire.

_Rasūlun sumāhu ṣādiqun laysa nāṭiqan / bi-shay’in siwā waḥyi-l ilāhi wa yuʿribu_

A Messenger whose name is Truthful, who does not speak of anything except the revelation of God, which he clarifies.

_Fa-ḥaqqun yaqīnun mā siwāhu mushakkakun / wa muḥtamilun taḥqīquhu-d dahra yatʿabu_

It is the certain truth; anything else is doubtful and merely possible, and seeking its realization is an exhausting task.

_Fa-man li-siwā-l hādī yarūmu qiyādatī / fa-dhāka-l muʿannā wa huwa ashqā wa akhyabu_

Whoever seeks to lead me toward other than the Guide, he is the one in toil, and he is the most wretched and disappointed.

_Fa-lam arḍa taghyīran wa lastu mubaddilan / fa-madhhaba ghayri-l hāshimiyyi lastu adhhabu_

I have not accepted any change nor am I one to substitute; for toward any path other than the Hashemite's, I shall not go.

_Wa nahju sabīlī wāḍiḥun li-man-ihtadā / wa qad khāba man yabghī-ʿwijājī wa yaṭlubu_

The course of my way is clear for those who are guided, and he has failed who seeks or desires my deviation.

_ʿAlā-s salafi-l aʿlāmi riḍwānu rabbihim / fa-qad darasū nahja-l amīni wa haddhabū_

Upon the eminent predecessors be the pleasure of their Lord, for they studied the path of the Trustworthy one and refined it.

_Wa laysa lahum shay’un siwā qafwi Aḥmadin / wa laysa lanā bal-ha-btidāʿan yuʿaqqabu_

They had nothing other than the following of Ahmad, and we have no room for any subsequent innovations.

_ʿAlā dhā darajnā lā malāma fa-kullunā / ʿalayhi-khtiyārun kayfa yanḥū wa yadhabu_

Upon this we have grown, and there is no blame, for each of us has the choice in how he inclines and where he goes.

_Alā fa-shhadū annī uḥibbu Muḥammadan / wa abghaḍu kufrānan ka-nārin talahhabu_

Verily, bear witness that I love Muhammad, and I hate disbelief like a blazing fire.

_Aḥabbu ilayya min walīdī wa wālidī / wa nafsī wa ahlī bal-ha mā liy sayuḥsabu_

He is dearer to me than my child and my father, and my soul and my family, let alone whatever wealth may be counted.

_Uḥibbu li-dhāti-llāhi ḥaqqan wa innanī / ḥalā liy īmānī wa nahjī muhaddhabu_

I love truly for the sake of Allah, and indeed, my faith has become sweet to me and my path is refined.

_Fa-in fākhara-l aqwāmu ḥaqqan fa-innanī / ufākhiru bi-l hādi-l amīni wa aṭrabu_

If nations truly boast, then I boast of the Trustworthy Guide and I am filled with joy.

_Wa rabbī wa rabbī-llāhu ḥaqqan falam akhaf / li-tahdīdi jabbārin ḥajā yataqallabu_

My Lord—and my Lord is truly Allah—so I have not feared the threat of any tyrant whose intellect is wavering.

_Fa-lam arju makhlūqan wa lastu bi-ṭāmiʿin / li-shakhṣin siwā shakhṣin li-rabbī yuqarribu_

I have not placed hope in any creature, nor am I covetous of any person except the person who brings me closer to my Lord.

_Wuqūfī ladā bābi-l muhaymini dā’iman / wa faqrī ilayhi lā li-malkin yuḥajjabu_

My standing is always at the door of the All-Preserving, and my poverty is toward Him, not toward any king who is veiled.

_Ghanītu bihi yakfī li-faqrī wa fāqatī / yulīnu-l qawāsī wa huwa maghnāya yukhiṣbu_

I have become enriched through Him, and He suffices for my poverty and need; He softens the hard things and He is my fertile sanctuary.

_Wa yudnī baʿīdan wa-l manāla yunīluhu / fa-afḍalu man yuʿlī wa man qad yurattibu_

He brings near what is distant and grants the attainment of goals; He is the best of those who elevate and those who ordain.

_Ṣalātun wa taslīmun ʿalā khayri hāshimin / maʿa-l āli ṭurran thumma man kāna yaṣḥabu_

Blessings and peace be upon the best of Hashim, along with all the Family and then whoever keeps his company.
