From [Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/qasaaid/691f292bc02b144934a4ec1f) by [Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/authors/69172463686829cc1d041df5)

_Yuhayyiju tashmīru-l ḥajīji wa yusʿifu / ʿalā-l wajdi wa-t tahyāmi ḥaqqan wa yudnifu_

The readiness of the pilgrims stirs my longing and aids my passion and infatuation, truly making me weary with love.

_Yasīru bihim fulku-l hawā’i qad aṣbaḥū / bi-yūfin wa amsaw bi-n nabiyyi tasharrafū_

The vessel of the air carries them; they reached the morning in Juff and the evening honored by the Prophet.

_ʿAlā sākinī Salʿin salāmī fa-innanī / kaliftu bihim wajdan wa inniya unṣafu_

Upon the dwellers of Sal' be my peace, for I have been consumed by passion for them and I am treated fairly.

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / yakūnu bihā lī ʿinda Aḥmada mawqifu_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and His peace, through which I shall have a standing in the presence of Ahmad.

_Bi-Jūta Mayākin qad dhakartuka mawninan / wa qad nāma kullu-n nāsi wa-l qalbu yarjufu_

In Juta Mayaki, I remembered you in the late night, while all the people slept and my heart was trembling.

_Yu’annisunī ṭirsī wa ḥibrī wa mizbarī / wa ansuju madḥī wa-d dumūʿa ukafkifu_

My scroll, my ink, and my pen comfort me as I weave my praise and wipe away my tears.

_Ujāwiru khayra-n nāsi ḥaqqan bi-Ṭaybatin / ṭawā liya-l falā innī ladayhi muwaqqafu_

I truly neighbor the best of mankind in Tayba; the wilderness was folded for me and I am stationed in his presence.

_Ṭawā liya-l qurā wa-l bīda ḥattā ka-annamā / danā fa-tadallā lī wa liy ṭāba mawqifu_

He folded for me the villages and the deserts until it was as if he drew near and descended to me, and my station became pleasant.

_Yukhayyalu lī ḥattā ka-annī ra’aytuhu / jihāran wa khubthī bi-l jiwāri munaẓẓafu_

It is imagined to me until it is as if I see him openly, and my impurity is cleansed by this neighborhood.

_Fa-kam qallaba-l hādī-ḍ ḍalāla hidāyatan / idhi-l buṭlu yumḥā ḥīna bi-l ḥaqqi yuqdhafu_

How often has the Guide turned misguidance into guidance, as falsehood is erased when it is struck by the truth.

_Arā mūbiqāti-l ʿabdi tumsī ʿadīmatan / idhā yalfitu-l hādī ilayhi wa yaʿṭifu_

I see the destructive sins of the servant becoming non-existent when the Guide turns toward him with affection.

_Lahu khuṭṭatā lawlāka sal tuʿṭa wa-shfaʿan / tushaffaʿ wa innī qurbahu atalaṭṭafu_

To him belong the two paths: "Were it not for you" and "Ask, you shall be given, and intercede." You shall be granted intercession, and I act with refinement in his proximity.

_ʿAkaftu ʿalā bābi-n nabiyyi Muḥammadin / wa man fātanī lam ulfa min dhāka a’safu_

I have remained devoted at the door of the Prophet Muhammad, and whoever I have missed, I do not find myself regretful for that.

_Idhā mā ṣafā liy al-munḥaminna fa-innanī / ka-qāṣidi Kāfūrin bal aʿlā wa ashrafu_

If the Bestower is pure for me, then I am like one seeking the finest musk, rather even higher and more noble.

_Kharifī shitā’ī-d dahra dhikru Muḥammadin / wa madḥuka ʿindī marbaʿun wa muṣayyafu_

My autumn and my winter throughout time are the remembrance of Muhammad, and your praise is to me a spring and summer dwelling.

_Wa nawmī wa baʿthī fī shuhūdi nabiyyinā / sawā’un fa-li-l aghyāri lā atashawwafu_

My sleep and my resurrection in the witnessing of our Prophet are equal, for I do not look toward others.

_ʿAlā kulli ḥālin lā arā ghayra Aḥmada / jamīlan karīman yujzilu-n nayla yaʿṭifu_

In every state, I see none but Ahmad, beautiful and generous, bestowing gifts abundantly and with affection.

_Waʿīdu ʿaduwwī lam yukhifnī wa waʿduhu / sarābun bi-qīʿānin madā-d dahri yukhlifu_

The threat of my enemy did not frighten me, and his promise is a mirage in the plains that always fails.

_Qalawnī wa kādū bal jafaw wa taqawwalū / walā ḍayra innī aqra’u-dh dhikra aʿrifu_

They hated me and plotted, rather they turned away and spoke falsely, but there is no harm; I read the Remembrance and I know.

_ʿAlā ghayri dhanbin ghayra anna Muḥammadan / wa atbāʿahu sahmī walā ataʿassafu_

Without any sin, except that Muhammad and his followers are my portion, and I do not act unjustly.

_Raḍītu bi-rabbī wa-l ḥanīfatu maslakī / imāmī rasūlu-llāhi lā atakhal-lafu_

I am content with my Lord and the primordial faith is my path; my Imam is the Messenger of Allah, I do not lag behind.

_Dalīlī rasūlu-llāhi wa-l baytu qiblatī / naṣūmu wa bi-l bayti-l ḥarāmi nuṭawwifu_

My guide is the Messenger of Allah and the House is my Qibla; we fast and we circumambulate the Sacred House.

_Nuṣallī sujūdan rākiʿīna wa innanā / ʿalā dhā darajnā-d dahra lā nataʿassafu_

We pray in prostration and bowing, and upon this we have grown throughout time without deviating.

_Walasnā nubālī bi-ṣ ṣalībi falā narā / siwā khāliqi-l akwāni yuʿṭī wa yuthifu_

We do not care for the cross, for we see none but the Creator of the universes giving and bestowing.

_Wa nadhkuru mawlānā-l jalīla taʿarruḍan / li-ālā’ihi shukran walā nataqash-shafu_

And we mention our Majestic Protector, seeking His favors in gratitude, and we do not live in austerity.

_Yamūtu bi-ghayẓin man yughiẓ-hu fa-innahu / liwā-d dīni yaʿlū sarmadan wa yuraffrifu_

May he who is enraged by it die in his rage, for the banner of the religion shall rise eternally and flutter.

_Fa-yā rabbi fa-sluk bī ṣirāṭa Muḥammadin / wa ṣaḥbī wa awlādī wa man yataḥannafu_

O Lord, lead me upon the path of Muhammad, and my companions, my children, and whoever follows the true faith.

And forgive me and my parents, and grant us entry into gardens where we shall not fear nor regret.

_Wa hab lī murādī fī iqāmati dīni man / nafā mā siwā-l islāmi fī-l kawni yuʿrafu_

And grant me my desire in establishing the religion of the one who negated all but Islam to be known in the universe.

_A-mawlāya hādhā-sh shaybu wa-l ʿaybu zā’idun / wa ḥuqqa li-ʿaybī ānadhāka yukhaffafu_

O my Master, this gray hair and my faults are increasing, and it is right that my faults should now be lightened.

_Wa in dāma hādhā-l ʿaybu wa-sh shaybu hākadhā / sa-aqlaʿu shaybī mithla ghayrī wa antifu_

And if this fault and gray hair continue as such, I shall uproot my gray hair like others and pluck it.

_Kamā qad ughaṭṭī bi-l ʿamā’imi baʿḍahu / ʿalā anna ʿilma-llāhi lā yatawaqqafu_

Just as I might cover some of it with turbans, though the knowledge of Allah never ceases.

_Ṣalātun wa taslīmun ʿalā khayri Hāshimin / wa ālin wa ṣaḥbin arshadūnā wa thaqqafū_

Blessing and peace be upon the best of Hashim, and the Family and Companions who guided us and educated us.
