# Harfun Nuun · حَرْفُ النُّون

**1.** نُقَلِّــدُ طَــــهَ الْهَاشِمِـــيَّ وَنُنْفِــــذُ / أَوَامِرَهُ فِي الْكَوْنِ وَالْكَــوْنَ نُنْقِــذُ

_Nuqallidu Ṭāhā-l hāshimiyya wa nunfidhu / awāmirahu fī-l kawni wa-l kawna nunqidhu_

We follow Taha the Hashemite and we carry out his commands in the universe, and we rescue the universe.

**2.** أَلَمْ تَدْرِ أَنَّ الْهَاشِمِيَّ مُسَامِـــرِي / وَمُقْتَبَسِي مَهْمَا تَحَيَّــــرَ جِهْبِــذُ

_Alam tadri anna-l hāshimiyya musāmirī / wa muqtabasī mahmā taḥayyara jihbidhu_

Do you not know that the Hashemite is my nocturnal companion and my source of light whenever a great scholar is bewildered?

**3.** أَلَـــــمْ تَــدْرِ أَنَّ الْهَاشِمِـــيَّ مُسَــاعِــدِي / إِذَا أَبْرَمُوا الْحِرْمَــــانَ يَوْمًـــا وَنَفَّــذُوا

_Alam tadri anna-l hāshimiyya musāʿidī / idhā abramū-l ḥirmāna yawman wa naffadhū_

Do you not know that the Hashemite is my helper when they decree deprivation one day and execute it?

**4.** أَلَـــــمْ تَــــدْرِ أَنَّ الْهَاشِمِــيَّ مُدَافِـــعٌ / عَنِ الْعَبْدِ مَهْمَا قِيلَ فَارْمُوهُ وَانْبِـذُوا

_Alam tadri anna-l hāshimiyya mudāfiʿun / ʿani-l ʿabdi mahmā qīla farmūhu wa-nbidhū_

Do you not know that the Hashemite is a defender of the servant, no matter what is said: "Cast him away and reject him"?

**5.** أَلَمْ تَــــدْرِ أَنَّ الْهَاشِمِــيَّ مُؤَيِّـــــدِي / إِذَا دَهِشَ الْأَقْطَابُ إِذْ قِيلَ فَانْفُــذُوا

_Alam tadri anna-l hāshimiyya mu’ayyidī / idhā dahisha-l aqṭābu idh qīla fa-nfudhū_

Do you not know that the Hashemite is my supporter when the spiritual poles are dazed as it is said: "Then pass through"?

**6.** لَقَدْ فَازَ أَحْبَابِي جَنَوْا غَرْسَ حُبِّهِـــمْ / مَتَى قِيلَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ غَـــــوْثٌ وَمُنْقِــذُ

_Laqad fāza aḥbābī janaw gharsa ḥubbihim / matā qīla Ibrāhīmu ghawthun wa munqidhu_

My beloveds have indeed succeeded; they reaped the planting of their love when it was said: "Ibrahim is a succour and a rescuer."

**7.** وَقَدْ قَالَ مَمْدُوحِي فَإِنِّي مُفَــــوِّضٌ / أُمُــورِي إِلَى بَرْهَـــامَ فَهْوَ الْمُنَفِّـــذُ

_Wa qad qāla mamdūḥī fa-innī mufawwiḍun / umūrī ilā Barhāma fahuwa-l munaffidhu_

And the one I praise has said: "I am delegating my affairs to Barham, for he is the executor."

**8.** عَلَيْـــــهِ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / وَآلٍ وَصَحْبٍ دَارَكُونِـي وَأَنْقَذُوا

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa ālin wa ṣaḥbin dārakūnī wa anqadhū_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace, and upon the Family and Companions who reached me and rescued me.
