Harfur Raa ·
From Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست by Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass
Rafaʿtu liwā’a-d dīni bi-dh dhikri ṣārikhan
wa dhikrī wa wuddī kāna fī-l qalbi rāsikhā
I raised the banner of the religion, crying out with the Remembrance; and my remembrance and my love were firmly rooted in the heart.
Fa-yā mā uḥaylā dhikru Ṭāhā Muḥammadin
rasūlin atā bi-dh dhikri li-l ghayri nāsikhā
O how sweet is the mention of Taha Muhammad, a Messenger who brought the Remembrance as an abrogator for others.
Alā-ʿtaṣimū bi-l ḥabli ḥabli Muḥammadin
rijālan wa aṭfālan nisan wa mashāyikhā
Verily, cling to the rope—the rope of Muhammad—men and children, women and elders.
Tafūqū rijālan mudlijīna qadi-dmanū
masīran wa jābū fadfadan wa sarābikhā
You shall surpass men traveling by night who have made a habit of the journey and crossed wastelands and empty deserts.
Bi-khayri nabiyyin jā’a min khayri mālikin
bi-barzakhi aqṭābin qad amsaw barāzikhā
By the best of Prophets who came from the best of Owners, through the isthmus (barzakh) of spiritual poles who themselves became isthmuses.
ʿAlayhi ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu
tuwāṣilunī mā jubtu ḥissan farāsikhā
Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; may they reach me across every league of distance I physically traverse.
ʿAlayhi ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu
wa aʿlū bi-hādī-l khalqi shumman shawāmikhā
Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; may I rise through the Guide of creation to the loftiest of heights.
ʿAlayhi ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu
ahuddu bi-dhikrāhu-l jibāla-r rawāsikhā
Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; may I demolish the firmly rooted mountains with his remembrance.
ʿAlayhi maʿa-l āli-l kirāmi wa ṣaḥbihi
wa kulluhumu bi-dh dhikri qad kāna ṣārikha
Upon him, along with the noble Family and his Companions; and every one of them was crying out with the Remembrance.
