# Harfush Shiin · حَرْفُ الشِّين

**1.** شِفَائِي مَدِيحِي وَالطَّبِيبُ الْمُفَتِّـــــشُ / مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ يَزْوَرُّ عَنْــــــهُ الْمُشَــوِّشُ

_Shifā’ī madīḥī wa-ṭ ṭabību-l mufattishu / Muḥammadu man yazwarru ʿanhu-l mushawwishu_

My healing is my praise, and the physician who examines is Muhammad, from whom the confused one turns away.

**2.** رَجَعْتُ بِــــهِ لِلَّهِ جَـــلَّ جَـــلاَلُــــهُ / وَقَلْبِي سَلِيمٌ وَالْأَمِيـــــنُ الْمُفَتِّــشُ

_Rajaʿtu bihi lillāhi jalla jalāluhu / wa qalbī salīmun wa-l amīnu-l mufattishu_

Through him I returned to Allah—majestic is His glory—with a sound heart, and the Trustworthy one is the examiner.

**3.** شِتَائِي رَبِيعِي الدَّهْرَ سَرْدُ مَدِيحِـــهِ / وَمَنْ حَالُهُ حَالِي فَقَــدْ لاَ يُشَـــوِّشُ

_Shitā’ī rabīʿī-d dahra sardu madīḥihi / wa man ḥāluhu ḥālī fa-qad lā yushawwishu_

My winter and my spring throughout time are the narration of his praise; and he whose state is like mine shall not be confused.

**4.** عَلَى أَحْمَدَ الْمُخْتَارِ مِــنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّــــهِ / سَلاَمٌ مَدَى الْأَيَّامِ فِي الْكَوْنِ يُنْقَـــــشُ

_ʿAlā Aḥmada-l mukhtāri min ʿindi rabbihi / salāmun madā-l ayyāmi fī-l kawni yunqashu_

Upon Ahmad, the Chosen one from his Lord, be peace that is engraved in the universe throughout the days.

**5.** عَلَى أَحْمَدَ الْمُخْتَارِ مِــنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّــــهِ / سَلاَمٌ مَدَى الْأَيَّامِ فِي الْكَوْنِ يُنْقَـــــشُ

_ʿAlā Aḥmada-l mukhtāri min ʿindi rabbihi / salāmun madā-l ayyāmi fī-l kawni yunqashu_

Upon Ahmad, the Chosen one from his Lord, be peace that is engraved in the universe throughout the days.

**6.** عَلَيْهِ مَــــعَ الْآلِ الْكِرَامِ وَصَحْبِـــهِ / وَمَنْ هَذَّبُوا الْأَخْلاَقَ حَقًّا وَفَتَّشُــوا

_ʿAlayhi maʿa-l āli-l kirāmi wa ṣaḥbihi / wa man haddhabū-l akhlāqa ḥaqqan wa fattashū_

Upon him, along with the noble Family and his Companions, and those who truly refined their character and examined their souls.
