# Harful Miim ·

From [Ad-Dawaawiinu s-Sitta · الدواوين الست](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/qasaaid/691f292bc02b144934a4ec1f) by [Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/authors/69172463686829cc1d041df5)

_Madīnatu māḥi-l kufri wa-l ʿāri wa-r rijsi / madā-d dahri fīhā qurratu-l ʿayni wa-n nafsi_

The city of the Eraser of disbelief, shame, and impurity; throughout time, in it is the delight of the eye and the soul.

_Tadhakkartuhā wa-l ḥālu annī mukhayyimun / bi-Bārīsa anḥūhā li-amḥū bihā rijsī_

I remembered it while I was staying in Paris, heading toward it to erase my impurity through it.

_Arānī idhā mā ji’tu Ṭaybata zā’irā / yuqarribunī qurban yatimmu bihā unsī_

I see that if I ever come to Tayba (Medina) as a visitor, he (the Prophet) brings me so near that my intimacy becomes complete.

_A-akrama khalqi-llāhi Aḥmada mā tarā / li-zawrin khalā min kulli maʿnan wa min ḥissi_

O most noble of Allah's creation, Ahmad, what do you see for a visitor who is void of all meaning and spiritual sense?

_Wa innaka mukhtāru-l ilāhi wa malja’u / al-ʿawālimi min jinnin khafiyyin wa min insi_

Indeed, you are the chosen of God and the refuge of the worlds, of the hidden jinn and of mankind.

_ʿAẓīmun ʿaẓīmu-l khulqi wa-l jūdi wa-l ʿaṭā / bihi zāla hammī thumma kasrī kadhā bu’sī_

Great, great in character, generosity, and giving; through him, my worry, my brokenness, and my misery vanished.

_Wa in dahi-sha-l aqṭābu yawman bi-mashhadin / arāhu fa-yuʿlīnī ilā aʿẓami-l kursī_

Even if the spiritual poles (Aqtab) were to be dazed one day by a station I witness, he elevates me to the greatest throne.

_Wahabta li-kulli-l mādiḥīna shafāʿatan / wa hal yaqbalu-l maḥmūdu tashfīʿahum laysī_

You granted intercession to all the praisers; and would the Praiseworthy one (the Prophet) ever reject their intercession for me?

_ʿAlā ʿiwajī arjū ʿumūma shafāʿati / al-amīni li-man yahwa-l ʿubayda mina-l insi_

Despite my crookedness, I hope for the general intercession of the Trustworthy one for those among mankind who love this humble servant.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / fa-amruka maqbūlun ʿala-l ʿayni wa-r ra’si_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; for your command is accepted with utmost honor and respect.

_Daʿawta ila-t tawḥīdi lillāhi waḥdahu / fa-kullun siwāhu fī-nmḥā’in wa fī ṭamsi_

You called to the Monotheism of Allah alone; for everything besides Him is in a state of vanishing and erasure.

_Huwa-l kullu minhu-l kullu lā rabba ghayruhu / fa-mā thamma min kuf’in walā thamma min ʿaksi_

He is the All, and from Him is the all; there is no Lord but Him, and there is no equal, nor any opposite.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / tuḥarrirunā min kulli baṭshin wa min ḥabsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; may they liberate us from every oppression and from imprisonment.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / li-uṣbiḥa maymūnan ḥayātī kadhā umsī_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; so that my life becomes blessed, both by day and by night.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / tajāfaytu ʿan ahlī wa ṣaḥbī wa ʿan jinsī_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; I have distanced myself from my family, my companions, and my kin for you.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / yatimmu-sh shifā min kulli ba’sin wa min ṭamsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; through which healing from every hardship and erasure is completed.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / saraynā wa wāfaynāka khayra banī ḥumsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; we traveled by night and reached you, O best of the brave.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / fa-minka ʿilājī marhama-l qalbi wa-n nafsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; for from you is my cure, the ointment of the heart and the soul.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / fa-minka ʿilājī marhama-l qalbi wa-n nafsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; for from you is my cure, the ointment of the heart and the soul.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / uḥibbuka ḥubban lā yazālu ila-r ramsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; I love you with a love that shall remain until the grave.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / fa-kullī li-khayri-l khalqi fī-l yawmi wa-l amsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; for my whole self belongs to the best of creation, today and yesterday.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / fa-burhānu ḥubbī fīka awḍaḥu min shamsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; for the proof of my love for you is clearer than the sun.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa taṭrudu Eshkūla-l laʿīna mina-l Qudsi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; and may you expel the cursed Eshkol (Levi Eshkol) from Jerusalem.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa tasta’ṣilu-l khubtha-l Yahūda mina-l ussi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; and may you uproot the evil of the Jews from the very foundation.

_Wa tuhliku dajjāla-l Yahūdi wa tuhlikan / Ebāna wa Dayyāna fa-yakmulu liy unsī_

And destroy the Dajjal of the Jews, and destroy Eban and Dayan, so that my intimacy may be complete.

_Li-tuhlik Ujūkū qablahum wa tunīlunā / bi-faḍlika naṣran shāmilan muthmira-l gharsi_

And destroy Ojukwu before them, and grant us by Your grace a comprehensive victory, a fruitful harvest.

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; we have come for the removal of distress, worry, and confusion.

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa ālin wa aṣḥābin dhawī-l faḍli wa-l ba’si_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; and upon the Family and Companions, people of merit and strength.

_ʿAlayka madā-l ayyāmi mā qāla khādimun / madīnatu māḥi-l kufri wa-l ʿāri wa-r rijsi_

Upon you throughout the days as long as a servant says: The city of the Eraser of disbelief, shame, and impurity.
