# Harfur Raa · حَرْفُ الرَّاء

**1.** رَأَيْــــتُ ثَنَـــاءَ الْهَاشِمِـــيِّ تَلَـــذُّذِي / وَنِعْمَ مَلاَذِي فِي الْخُطُوبِ وَمُنْقِذِي

_Ra’aytu thanā’a-l hāshimiyyi taladh-dhudhī / wa niʿma malādhī fī-l khuṭūbi wa munqidhī_

I have found the praise of the Hashemite to be my delight, and what an excellent refuge and savior he is in times of distress.

**2.** رَجَعْـــتُ بِــــــهِ لِلَّهِ جَــــلَّ جَلاَلُــــــهُ / وَأَسْنَدْتُ ظَهْرِي عِنْدَهُ وَهْوَ جِهْبِـذِي

_Rajaʿtu bihi lillāhi jalla jalāluhu / wa asnadtu ẓahrī ʿindahu wa huwa jihbidhī_

Through him I returned to Allah—majestic is His glory—and I leaned my back upon him, for he is my expert guide.

**3.** فَلاَ رَبَّ غَيْرُ اللّٰهِ لاَ شَيْءَ غَيْـــرُهُ / وَأَحْمَـــدُ بَــابٌ لِلْمُهَيْمِــنِ مُنْقِــذِي

_Falā rabba ghayru-llāhi lā shay’a ghayruhu / wa Aḥmadu bābun li-l muhaymini munqidhī_

There is no Lord but Allah, there is nothing else besides Him; and Ahmad is a door to the All-Preserving One, my savior.

**4.** وَأَسْأَلُــهُ نَصْــــرًا عَزِيــزًا مُـؤَزَّرًا / فَيَرْدَى لِأَقْصَى الذُّلِّ نِكْسُونُ كَالَّذِي

_Wa as’aluhu naṣran ʿazīzan mu’azzaran / fa-yardā li-aqṣā-dh dhulli Niksūnu ka-l ladhī_

And I ask Him for a mighty and supported victory, so that Nixon may fall into the utmost humiliation like one who—

**5.** يَسُوقُ إِلَى دَارِ الْجَحِيــمِ بِسُرْعَـــةٍ / مَيَــارًا وَدَيَّانًــــا فَحُكْمَــــكَ نَفِّـــذِ

_Yasūqu ila dāri-l jaḥīmi bi-surʿatin / Mayāran wa Dayyānan fa-ḥukmaka naffidhi_

Is driven to the abode of Hellfire with haste; (and likewise) Meir and Dayan—so execute Your judgment.

**6.** وَأَخْزِ أَبَانًـــا وَالْأَلُــونَ وَشَــدِّدَنْ / عَلَى الْكُفْرِ بَطْشًا كَيْ يَتِمَّ تَلَـــذُّذِي

_Wa akhzi Abānan wa-l Alūna wa shaddidan / ʿala-l kufri baṭshan kay yatimma taladh-dhudhī_

And humiliate Eban and Allon, and intensify the strike upon disbelief so that my delight may be complete.

**7.** عَلَيْـــــكَ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / تُقَوِّي بِنُورِ الْحَقِّ فِي الدِّينِ مَأْخَـذِي

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / tuqawwī bi-nūri-l ḥaqqi fī-d dīni ma’khadhī_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; may they strengthen my path in religion with the light of Truth.

**8.** عَلَيْـــكَ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / وَمَزِّقْ جُمُوعَ الْهُودِ لِلْبَحْرِ فَانْبُـذِ

_ʿAlayka ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa mazziq jumūʿa-l hūdi li-l baḥri fa-nbudhi_

Upon you be the blessings of Allah and then His peace; and tear apart the gatherings of the Jews and cast them into the sea.

**9.** وَتَنْصُرُ كُلَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَتَرْفَعَــنْ / لَنَا رَايَةَ الْإِسْلاَمِ فِـــي كُــلِّ مَنْفَـذِ

_Wa tanṣuru kulla-l muslimīna wa tarfaʿan / lanā rāyata-l islāmi fī kulli manfadhi_

And grant victory to all the Muslims and raise for us the banner of Islam in every passage.

**10.** عَلَيْــــــــهِ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ / وَمِنْ وَالِدِي كَهْفِي وَشَيْخِي وَجِهْبِذِي

_ʿAlayhi ṣalātu-llāhi thumma salāmuhu / wa min wālidī kahfī wa shaykhī wa jihbidhī_

Upon him be the blessings of Allah and then His peace, and from my father—my cave, my Shaykh, and my expert guide.

**11.** عَلَيْهِ مَــعَ الْآلِ الْكِــرَامِ وَصَحْبِــهِ / فَتُخْزِي يَهُودَ الْقُـــدْسِ دُونَ مُنَقِّــذِ

_ʿAlayhi maʿa-l āli-l kirāmi wa ṣaḥbihi / fa-tukhzī Yahūda-l Qudsi dūna munaqqidhi_

Upon him, along with the noble Family and his Companions; so that You may humiliate the Jews of Jerusalem without any savior for them.
