From [Yaa Mula · يَا مُولَعاً بِالطَّرَبِ](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/qasaaid/69ad9286598e75890f42460c) by [Sheikh Yahya Ibn Mohammadil Amiin](https://qasaaid.zayfir.app/app/authors/69aa1474605db4fa2e5e4fdb)

_Yā mūla‘an biṭ-ṭarabi / Rāghiba ‘an ta‘attubi / Waz-zayghi wat-tajannubi / Inhaḍ li-mad-ḥil-Quṭbi_

O you who are infatuated with spiritual ecstasy, desiring to turn away from blame, deviation, and avoidance—arise to praise the "Qutb" (Spiritual Pole)!

_A‘nī bihi ghawthal-warā / Summal-‘idā ṭibbal-warā / Bar-hāma man bihi narā / Kullal-munā wal-maṭlabi_

I mean by him the Succor of creation, the poison for enemies, the medicine for humanity: Ibrahim (Baye Niass), through whom we see all our desires and goals.

_Man nālahu nālal-munā / Wa-fātahu kullul-‘anā / Ḥibbīya rājiyal-hanā / Abshir bi-naylil-maṭlabi_

Whoever reaches him reaches their desires, and all their exhaustion fades away. My friend, who hopes for bliss, receive glad tidings of attaining your goal.

_Kullun bihi qadih-tadā / Ba‘daḍ-ḍalāli war-radā / Fī kaffihi baḥrun-nadā / Yamaṣ-ṣuhu mani-jtubī_

Everyone has been guided through him after misguidance and ruin; in his palm is an ocean of generosity, which the chosen ones sip from.

_Laqad raqā kullal-maqām / Ikhtaṣara ‘anhul-fikhām / Li-kawnihi jaddal-kirām / Ḥabība Yāsīnan-nabī_

He has ascended every spiritual station; greatness has been summarized within him because he is the noble forefather [spiritually] and the beloved of Yasin (the Prophet ﷺ).

_Wa-qad ḥabāhul-Muṣṭafā / Kullal-‘aṭā’i wak-tafā / Bihi ‘aduwwuhu jafā / Akrim bi-hādhāl-Quṭbi_

The Chosen One (the Prophet ﷺ) has gifted him every bounty; his enemy has grown distant through him. How noble is this Spiritual Pole!

_Wal-Lāhi lā ya‘rifuhu / Illal-ilāhu waḥduhu / Wal-munḥamin-nā ḥibbuhu / Ṭāhā rafī‘ul-manṣibi_

By Allah, none truly knows him except God alone, and the one who granted us his love: Taha (the Prophet ﷺ), who is of the highest rank.

_Fa-yā mafāzal-muttaqī / Ḥabībi Bar-hāman-naqī / Yā fawzahu fa-qad wuqi / Sharral-‘idā wa-man ghubī_

O, the success of the God-conscious lover of the pure Ibrahim! O, his victory, for he has been protected from the evil of enemies and the ignorant.

_Wa-yā khasāral-munkiri / Alaysa bid-mud-dakkiri / Bi-qawlatil-mud-dath-thiri / Ādhantuhu bil-ḥarbi_

And O, the loss of the denier! Is he not mindful of the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "I have declared war against him [who harms My saint]"?

_Wa-law badā li-munkiri / Mā qad badā li-mub-ṣiri / Lamā ṭaghā ḥīna qurī / Mad-ḥul-ladhī qadi-jtubī_

If there appeared to the denier what has appeared to the one with spiritual vision, he would not have transgressed when the praise of the chosen one was recited.

_Wa-qad kafānī annanī / Uḥibbuhu yuḥibbunī / Wa-qāla man aḥabbanī / Yafuz bilā tarayyubi_

It is enough for me that I love him and he loves me; he said, "Whoever loves me shall triumph without doubt."

_Bar-hāmu yā baḥran-nadā / Badrad-dujā shamsal-hudā / Rūḥal-warā ḥat-fal-‘idā / Mun-qidha kulli mudhnibi_

Ibrahim! O ocean of generosity, full moon of the darkness, sun of guidance, soul of creation, death of enemies, and savior of every sinner.

_Khadīmukum Yaḥyāl-Amīn / Qad jā’akum falā yamīn / Fī qalbihi ḥubbul-Amīn / Akhilla kun lī aqrabi_

Your servant, Yahya al-Amin, has come to you; there is no doubt that in his heart is the love of the Trustworthy One (the Prophet). O friend, be closer to me!

_Anta sirājunāl-munīr / Ya’ummukum jam‘un ghafīr / Wa-qad ataytu mus-tajīr / Li-raf-‘i mā qad ḥalla bihi_

You are our illuminating lamp; a vast assembly follows you. I have come seeking refuge to lift what has befallen me.

_Anta malādhul-lāhifi / Ajal wa-amnul-khā’ifi / Wa-ra’su kulliṭ-ṭā’ifi / Minar-rijālil-hudh-dhabi_

You are the refuge of the yearning soul, yes, and the safety of the fearful; the head of every group of refined men.

_Inyāsu anta dhukhratī / Fīl-ḥashri ay wa-bugh-yatī / Fī maḥ-ḍarī wa-ghaybatī / Wa-ma’kalī wa-mash-rabī_

Niass, you are my treasure for the Gathering [Resurrection], yes, and my goal; in my presence and my absence, in my food and my drink.

_Qaṣdī an taqūdanī / Ilayka wa-tamuddanī / Ḥub-buka qad shaghaf-nanī / ‘An Far-tanā wa-Zaynabi_

My intent is for you to lead me to yourself and support me; your love has infatuated me, turning me away from [worldly lovers like] Fartana and Zaynab.

_Fa-inna man tayyamahu / Ḥub-buka lā yahummuhu / Siwākum li-annahu / ‘An ghayri fī taghayyubi_

For whoever is captivated by your love, nothing else concerns him, because he is in a state of absence from everything else.

_Yā qā’idad-dīnil-ḥanīf / Antal-munīl antal-muḍīf / Fa-jud li-ḥibbikaḍ-ḍa‘īf / Bil-‘ilmi wat-ta’addubi_

O leader of the upright religion, you are the granter and the host; so be generous to your weak lover with knowledge and refined character.

_Yā fawzatī tafaḍ-ḍalī / Ānal-awānu fan-zilī / Ta‘aj-jalī ta‘aj-jalī / Ta‘aj-jalī li-taṭ-rubī_

O my victory, come forth! The time has arrived, so descend. Hasten, hasten, hasten to experience the ecstasy!

_Mā kāna lil-Lāhi-ttaṣal / Wa-mā li-ghayrihi-nfaṣal / Rabbī ‘alaykal-muttakal / Fa-kun li-‘abdin mudhnibi_

What is connected for Allah's sake endures, and what is for other than Him is severed. My Lord, in You is my trust, so be there for a sinful servant.

_Salāmun minka yā Raḥīm / ‘Alā ḥabībikal-Karīm / Bar-hāma man huwaz-za‘īm / Li-fayḍināl-mumar-ḥabi_

Peace from You, O Merciful, be upon Your noble beloved, Ibrahim—who is the leader of our welcoming Spiritual Flood (Fayda).

_Riḍāka yā ilāhanā / ‘An ḥibbinā mumiddinā / Wa-manba‘in li-rushdinā / ‘Uthmānal-muhadh-dhabi_

Your pleasure, O our God, be upon our beloved who supports us and is the source of our guidance: the refined Uthman.

_Lā tansa rabbī ḥibbahu / Qarīnahu ṣadīqahu / Dhākar-rashīdu khillahu / Hārūna dhūt-taqarrubi_

Do not forget, my Lord, his beloved companion and friend—that guided one, his close friend: Harun, the one of proximity.

_Kadhalika rabbī ikhwatī / Fil-Lāhi ay wa-usratī / Qadi-ntahat qaṣīdatī / Ithnay ‘ashara min Rajabi_

Likewise, my Lord, my brothers in God and my family. My poem ended on the twelfth of Rajab.

_Al-ḥamdu lil-Lāhil-ladhī / Manna ‘alal-‘ubaydi dhī / Tashaw-wuqin alā fadhī / Qaṣīdatut-taṭarrubi_

Praise be to Allah who favored this small servant with longing. Lo, this is the "Poem of Ecstasy."

_Thummaṣ-ṣalātu was-salām / ‘Alān-nabī khayril-anām / Wal-āli waṣ-ṣaḥbil-kirām / Wal-at-tibā‘il-hudh-dhabi_

Then prayer and peace be upon the Prophet, the best of mankind, and his noble family, companions, and the refined followers.
