Spirit of Good Morals

## Opening verses

**1.** يَقُولُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ نَجْلُ الْحَاجِ / عَبْدِ الإِلَـٰهِ بَـدْرِنَا الْوَهَّـاجِ

_Yaqūlu Ibrāhīmu najlu al-Ḥāji / ‘Abdi al-Ilāhi badrinā al-wahhājī_

Says Ibrahim, the son of Hajj Abd al-llah, our blazing full moon!

**2.** مِنْ بَعْدِ بِسْــمِ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ الْحَمْــدِ / لِلّٰهِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ الْعَظِيمِ الْمَجْدِ

_Min ba‘di Bismi Allāhi thumma al-ḥamdi / lillāhi dhī al-ṭawli al-‘aẓīmi al-majdi_

After invoking the name of Allah, then praise is due to Allah, Generous and Grand in Majesty
